After checking into the Shangri-La, we went in search of breakfast. A typical Taiwanese breakfast includes soybean milk, oil crueller and sesame bread. We found a great place just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It was so inexpensive. We fed 14 people for around $10.
Deep fried oil cruellers. This is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and not too greasy.
I like the salty soybean milk. Throw some oil cruellers in it.
Vegetable fried buns. This was an added bonus to our breakfast.
