Fruit in Taiwan

As in other parts of Asia, the fruit is amazing in Taiwan.

 

Buddha Head--also known as a custard apple. Peel off a section and scoop out the custardy interior--deliciously sweet.

 

Rose Apple. It doesn't look nor does it taste like an apple. The fruit has a waxy exterior, juicy interior and is slightly crispy.
