My sister had read about Bread Alone. I don't know where she hears about these tiny places on the other side of the country.
It was the end of the day and the pickings were slim. We tried their walnut raisin rolls--they were hard and plain. I was not impressed. We also tried Boylan's Ginger Ale. I must admit that I like their root beer much better.
