It's located at Via della Meloria, 43, a 10-minute walk from the Vatican Museum.
Get a number, look at the options while you're waiting and when you're called, let the server know how large a slice you want. It's weighed then heated in the oven.
We ordered the Mortadella (folded over like a sandwich)--€20/kg, Goat Cheese and Sun-Dried Tomato--€31.50/kg, Carciofi (artichoke)--€31.50/kg and Chard & Tomato--€23.50/kg. The crust certainly is crispy.
Polpetta di Bollito--€4. This was shredded meat and quite good.
We also ordered the Suppli Classico--€1.50. I've decided I'm not a fan of suppli. The stringy mozzarella and the tomato rice is not as good as arancini.
Our total bill came to €29.40. Was it worth it? I would say if you're in the neighborhood and the line is not long, it's worth it. Otherwise, I would skip.
