Turda Gorge (Cheili Turzii)

We had a little extra time and decided to visit the Turda Gorge (Cheili Turzii). It was a 30-minute drive west of the town.

Admission is 10 lei ($2.34). The canyon is 2.9 km long and it took us 1 hour each way.

There are numerous bridges crisscrossing the river in the gorge.

Be aware of falling rocks. Just kidding. I don't think there's much risk of rockfalls in the gorge.

The path follows the river.

I wore hiking boots but it's possible to just wear tennis shoes. It's a fairly flat trail.
