Battle of the Salt Beef Beigle

The Beigel Shop is located at 155 Brick Lane. It was established in 1855.

The salted beef beigle is £4.50, £4.80 with a gherkin. This was a big portion and loaded with salted beef and spicy mustard. The gherkins were sweet.

The Beigel Bake is a few doors down at 159 Brick Lane.

The salted beef beigle was £4.70. The gherkin was £0.20. This beef was very salty but everyone liked the chewy beigle, which tasted like pretzel. Overall, I liked the Beigel Shop better. I thought their beef was better but I have to agree the beigle at Beigle Bake was better.

Try them both and decide which you like better.
