Train Trip

From Jhiben, we took the train to Hualein.

The taxi ride to the Jhiben Train Station cost NT200 ($6.67). The train rise to Hualein cost NT 342 ($11.40).

One of the best things about riding a train in Taiwan are the bento boxes. An attendant pushes a cart through the train and you can purchase a box. This one had pork chop, an egg, greens and rice for NT 60 ($2). Taiwan is such an inexpensive country.

The scenery is beautiful and you'll find many temples along the way.
