The Hurtigruten Vesteralen was docked alongside us and we were allowed to board and tour the ship.
The Vesteralen was built in 1983, making it one of the oldest ships in the fleet. It has a passenger capacity of 516.
The lounge area was typical of a transport ferry rather than a passenger cruiseship.
There were picnic tables on deck.
The dining room was reminiscent of an old steamer.
