Panettone

I always look forward to the holiday season because it means there are panettones. This one came from Trader Joe's. I love the Italian fruitcake. It always brings back memories of my first trip to Italy when I went to Midnight Mass at the Vatican. Along the way, I saw everyone carrying panettone boxes so I stopped and got one too. The only problem was we were on our way to Midnight Mass and we were nowhere near our hostel, so I carried the panettone to the Vatican. I have a picture of me clutching my panettone box at the Vatican. Is that disrespectful?
