Torie's Cherry Chocolate Chunk Cookies

My sister made Torie's Cherry Chocolate Chunk Cookies. She found this on Martha Stewart's website several years ago and it's one of our go-to cookies when we're craving something sweet. We make the dough, use ice cream scoops to portion, freeze and we can bake up a batch whenever we want.

These cookies are flat but chewy and loaded with flavor. I like the texture of the oatmeal, the tartness of the dried cherry and the sweet of the chocolate chip.
