We hadn't really had lunch so we rode to Pontocho and had an early dinner at Misoka-An, famous for soba. It was o
n Fuyacho Dori, north of Sanjo Dori. I decided I'm not a soba fan. I'd much rather have ramen.
Shippoku for Y980. It had yuba, bean curd, shinjo (fish cake), spinach, quail egg & mushroom.
Tempura soba for Y1530. Nice broth, small portion but it hit the spot.
