This is a true hole-in-the-wall. We got there just a little before 8 pm, which was after the family crowd and before the millenials arrived. I had read that you get a free seafood pancake by mentioning Yelp and that was exactly what happened.
The pancake was crispy but slightly greasy. It wasn't as good as the pancake we had in Seoul but it was one of the better ones we have had in the south bay.
The banchans were delicious. I especially liked the bean curd, chap chae and seaweed.
We decided to try something new. This was marinated beef, octopus, vegetables in a spicy stew casserole--$30.99. This was a huge dish and certainly large enough to feed 3-4. It wasn't spicy but was on the sweet side--a little too sweet for me.
Close up of the casserole contents.
Bul Go Gi--$13.99. This was delicious wrapped in the marinated turnip. You also had your choice of wrapping it in rice paper or lettuce.
