Shanghai Flavor Shop

Shanghai Flavor Shop is located at 888 Old San Francisco Road. They're known for their pan fried pork buns.

You're given an order form, which is in Chinese. Fortunately, you also get a regular menu with English translations. We matched up the characters and filled out our order form. Hard to believe we're in Sunnyvale and the order form is in a foreign language.

Pan Fried Pork Buns--$6.75 for 6. These are amazing. Nice skin with crispy base. The meat filling was flavorful and incredibly juicy.

Baked Radish Cake--$3.50. These were weird. They were filled with turnip cake. Too mushy for the inside of a baked bun.

Shredded Pork & Noodle with Green Onion Sauce--$7.75. I didn't like this dish. The green onion sauce is deep fried green onions and it didn't have much flavor.

Pork Noodle Soup--$7.75. This was not good either. It didn't have much flavor.
