L'Etape Gourmande

I had read about L'Etape Gourmande in Rick Steves' guidebook. It was a great find.

L'Etape Gourmande is located 1.5 km from Villandry.

There's a nice outdoor dining area. They offer a 3-course lunch menu for €19.20 Mon-Fri.

The starter was a Cold Shrimp Bisque. This was so good. Perfectly creamy.

The main--Roast Pork in Cream Sauce--was moist and tender.

Creme Catalan for dessert.
