Sun Moon Lake

Sun Moon Lake is the largest body of water in Taiwan. It's located in the center of the country. A 30-km scenic road rings the lake. We chose to rent bikes and ride a portion of the lake.
 

 

 

Bikes can be rented for NT90 (roughly $3.50) per hour.

 

You can bike from the Visitor's Center in Shuishe Village out to the National Scenic Area Administration Building. The bike path is flat and for the most part is away from traffic.
