Shanghai Garden

We went to Shanghai Garden on Saturday to celebrate a belated birthday. It's normally crowded but since Chinese New Year's had just occurred on Friday, the restaurant was packed. Service was fast though. Once we sat down, we ordered, ate and left in 45 minutes. It's located at 20956 Homestead Road in Cupertino.

Sliced Jellyfish with Radish--$6.95. I'm not a fan of green onions and this was loaded with them. I also didn't think the radish worked well with the jellyfish.

Special Fish Gluten with Seafood & Peas Leaf--$13.95. This was great. Loved the gluten balls--puffy and flavorful.

Sautéed Shanghai Vegetable--$8.95. This was okay--nothing too distinctive.

Preserved Vegetable with Beancurd Sheet--$7.95. This was on the salty side.

Meatballs in Clay Pot--$8.95. This was delicious. The meatballs were soft and the sauce was tasty.

Shanghai Pan Fried Juicy Pork Buns--$6.95. This was the best dish of the evening. There was so much juice inside and the meat was well flavored.
