Rustic

Wednesday night dinner was at Rustic, located at 300 Via Archimedes in Geyserville.

They offered a 3-course $29 dinner.

We went with Wine Club members and got a bonus--a glass of Director's Cut Sauvignon Blanc

and a taste of Salmon Risotto. Our waiter told us the wine and tasting are offered on Wednesdays.

Coppola's wines were very reasonably priced. It wasn't worth it to bring your own wine and pay the corkage. The Director's Cut Pinot Noir was quite good.

The Restaurant Week menu started with Aunt Christine's Pettole. These were savory donuts and so good.

Options for the appetizer were Zuppa del Giorno, which was a butternut squash tonight.

or Caesar Salad. The salad was quite good and even had an anchovy.

There was only 1 option for the entree. Chicken Parmigiano with Spaghetti Pomodoro. The chicken was a little dry but the spaghetti was good.

Dessert was Estate Meyer Lemon Panna Cotta with Almond Biscotti and Vin Cotto. This was creamy and tasted like panna cotta from Corsica!
