Scopa, Healdsburg

Scopa's is one of our favorite restaurants in Healdsburg. It's located in the "Barber Shop" on the square--109 Plaza Street, Suite A. It's not a great bargain but the food is delicious.

Larry Pacini's House-Made Ciabatta Bread for $2.50, $3.50 with Dry Creek Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It's a tiny loaf with perhaps 5 small slices.

Peaches & Purslane--Grilled Dry Creek Peaches with Arugula, Frisee, Shallots & White Balsamic Vinaigrette for $12.50. The peach became sweeter after being grilled.

Grilled Calamari with White Beans, Pickled Onions & Arugula for $12.50

Baked Goat Cheese Salad--Arugula, Frisee, Strawberries, Toasted Hazelnuts & Balsamic Vinaigrette for $12.50

Nonna's Tomato-Braised Chicken with Sauteed Greens & Soft Polenta for $18.50. This is my favorite dish at Scopa's. The chicken is fork tender and the polenta is so creamy.
