Winslow, AZ

At Exit 252, turn right then left to follow BL40/Route 66, also known as 2nd Street.

At Kinsley & 2nd, you'll find a huge Route 66 sign painted on the street.

This is the famed "Standin' on the Corner in Winslow, Arizona" mentioned in the Eagles' song "Take It Easy." The "building" is a wall with a mural painted on it, established in 1999.

Official marker listing the site as a Route 66 Roadside Attraction.

Statue of Glenn Frey, who wrote the song with Jackson Browne, was installed in 2016.

There's even a "girl in a flatbed Ford" out front.

Across the street is Dominique's "Standin' on the Corner" gift shop. Periodically, it'll play the famous song.

Nearby is the Old Trails Museum, featuring old west, road and railroad history.

"Blue Chain China" used throughout the Harvey House system. This was used to serve the daily low-priced complete meal--the "blue plate special."
