Cochon

One of my favorite cities is New Orleans. To protect my cholesterol, I only go every few years or so but when I do go, I love Cochon. It's on Tchoupitoulas Street in the warehouse district.

 
Homemade Rolls--these are amazing. Warm, soft on the inside--just a perfect dinner roll.

 
Fried Alligator with Chili Garlic Aioli $10

 
Fried Boudin $8--loved, loved this dish. It's like an arancini but with flavors of liver and innards.


Smoked Duck and Tasso Gumbo $7

 
Louisiana Cochon with Turnips, Cabbage and Cracklins $23
