The first store we came upon in Old Sac was Danny's Mini Donuts. Who could resist stopping in to see the donuts being made? It's located at 900 2nd Street.
It's an automated system. The funnel on the right spits out tiny donuts which then fry in the oil and flips over halfway through.
4 donuts for $2, 8 donuts for $4 and 16 donuts for $6. This was ridiculously expensive for such tiny donuts. We decided this business must have the best profit margin in Old Sac.
