It was gorgeous last Sunday and we headed to Tomales Bay. We wanted to have oysters and stopped at Hog Island first but they were closed for a private event. Next stop was Tomales Bay Oyster Company. It was packed when we finally arrived at noon. We picked up 2 dozen small oysters for $30 and drove around the bay to the Tomales Bay State Park.
We sat on the beach and looked back at the Tomales Bay Oyster Company. It was peaceful and so much better than eating at the Oyster Company.
The oysters were very salty and expensive. We'll have to go back to New Orleans and have 50 cent oysters at Luke's.
