Getting to Agios Nikolaos Beach

The following morning, we took off on the scooter and explored the western side of the island. We arrived at Angali Beach.

Angali Beach was a beautiful white sand beach but there were already people on it. We went in search of a more secluded beach.

The sign said Agios Nikolaos Beach was a 20 minute walk.

The walk went uphill next to the small village

along the coast, past small cliff-side churches.

The path was narrow but well marked

On the path, there were rooms for rent

Cheap rooms because there was no electricity. Not sure if there was running water.

And then we arrived at Agios Nikolaos Beach. It was a beautiful, white sandy beach with few people. Clothing was optional.
