Sazon

Went to Sazon to celebrate a friend's birthday. It's a Peruvian restaurant located at 1129 Sebastopol Road in Santa Rosa.

Trio of Ceviche. I chose Ceviche Mango (prawns marinated in mango puree), Ceviche de Pescado Clasico (tilapia in leche de tigre) and Ahi Ceviche Nikei (ahi tuna marinated in soy ponzu). They were all good but my favorite was the Nikei.

Salmon Tiradito--$16. This was one of their specials. Sashimi-grade salmon in sauce made from blood orange, passion fruit, ahi limo and aoli with side of mango salsa criolla. This was a very small portion and the sauce wasn't as good as the ceviches we had.

Adobo de Chancho--braised pork stew. This was very flavorful. Just wish we had more rice.

Alfajores--$2. A good size and just the right amount of sweet at the end of a meal.
