We went to Vancouver for a wedding. The bride is Persian and changed the venue from San Francisco to Vancouver because she was afraid that given Trump's travel bans, her family and friends would not be able to attend.
Leaving SFO.
We flew United and got a Stroopwafel and a free non-alcoholic drink. The Stroopwafel was very good--a chewy cookie with a caramel filling.
Arriving in YVR, we passed an impressive exhibit with native art. Customs unfortunately took 45 minutes and this was even using the machines.
