Bar Goiz Argi

In the Basque region, tapas are known as pintxos. It's popular to go on a Txikiteo (pintxos crawl) in the evenings, usually from 8-10:30pm. It's easy in San Sebastian's old town, where there are many pintxos bars. Be aware that some of the bars are closed on Mondays.

Have a drink, eat a few pintxos, then move on to the next bar. There are just a few tables in each bar, so be prepared to stand. It's rude to leave a dirty napkin on the counter. Either throw it in a bin or on the floor.

The best pintxos are hot ones, made to order. They're usually listed on a board.

Bar Goiz Argi is located at Fermin Calbeton Kalea 4.
