Driving Along the Coast

From Dinard, we headed west along the coast.

In Lancieux, we found a plant & marine festival. It was just a small, hometown festival.

There was a windmill en route.

We even found a bunker from WW II near Saint Jacut de la Mer.

We stopped for lunch in the seaside town of Saint Cast. We found La Mariniere on the main thoroughfare.

Langoustine--€13.90 for 6. These were tiny and not worth the effort.

Bulot (sea snails)--€8.50. You have to pull the meat out of the shell with a pick. These may not be for everyone but I like them. They taste like abalone.

Sole Meuniere with Pomme de Terre (potatoes)--€24.90.

Merlu (hake) with Beurre Blanc Sauce--€15.90. This was better than the sole.
