Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art

City Park is located 1 mile from Parkway Bakery & Tavern and it is a beautiful park.

Within the park, there's a lake near the New Orleans Museum of Art.

Next to the museum is the Besthoff Sculpture Museum--an outdoor museum with sculptures by artists from all over the world. It's my favorite place to visit in New Orleans and it's FREE!

"Reclining Mother & Child" by British Henry Moore.

The garden is dotted with green space.

"Karma" by Korean Do-Ho Suh. This is my favorite piece.

"Window with Ladder--Too Late for Help" by Argentinian Leandro Erlich.

"Pablo Casal's Obelisk"by French Armand Pierre Fernandez.

"Travelin' Light" by American Alison Saar. It was disturbing to see a body hanging upside down.

"Overflow" by Jaume Plensa. This is my 2nd favorite piece. It reminded me of the "hand" that hangs in the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice.

"Corridor Pin" by Americans Claes Oldenburg & Coosje van Bruggen.

"Spider" by American Louis Bourgeois.

"We Stand Together"by American George Rodrigue.

"Love" by American Robert Indiana.

"Three Figures and Four Benches" by American George Segal.

"Colored Stacked Frames" by American Sean Scully.

"The Sun" by Swiss Ugo Rondinone.

"Mississippi Meanders" by American Elyn Zimmerman.

"Mirror Labyrinth" by Danish Jeppe Hein.

"Bear with Us" by American Frank Gehry.

"Vinales" by American Teresita Fernandez.

Maya Lin's sculpture made of marbles.

This was the coolest sculpture--"The Hinged View" by Danish Olafur Eliasson.

As you walk around, the spheres change from color to black & white.

Nearby is an outpost of Cafe du Monde. It used to be Morning Call, which had great beignets.
