Needles, California

Needles is in eastern San Bernardino County, right before the Arizona border. It has a population of roughly 5000.

The El Garces is near the RR tracks and was an old Harvey House, which serviced rail passengers.

The train depot is next to El Garces.

Drive down Broadway to see the town.

The former Masonic Temple dates to 1929.

Across from the Masonic Temple is a mural featuring Spikes, Snoopy's brother.

Spikes is from Needles.

The Imperial 400 Motor Inn is a little further down the road.

At the eastern edge of town, you'll find the official "Welcome Wagon."

Leaving Needles, you'll find the 66 Motel with its neon sign.

You know you're on the right road when you see the signs painted on the pavement.
