Thursday Night at Flavor's

Tonight's dinner:


Linguine Alla Vongole--Homemade Hand-Cut Linguine, Fresh Manila Clams, Garlic, Crushed Chiles, Lemon & Parsley paired with 2010 Alexander Valley Vineyards Chardonnay, Estate, Alexander Valley. The pasta was amazing. Perfectly al dente and the clams were delicious!


Fagioli Con Salsiccia--Cannellini Beans Cooked in Vementino Flavored with Organic Tomatoes, Sweet Basil & Garlic Topped with Homemade Italian Style Sausage paired with 2007 Clos Pegase Merlot, Estate, Napa Valley


Risotto Con Anatra--Arborio Rice Cooked with Duck Confit, Local Mushrooms & Aromatic Herbs served in a Barolo Wine Sauce paired with 2009 Terra d'Oro, Deaver Vineyard, 100 Year Old Vines, Zinfandel, Amador County. Loved the risotto with duck confit and the Barolo reduction was amazing!


Pera Con Zabaione--Pinot Grigio Poached Pears Served in a Muscat Sabayon Garnished with Hazelnut Gremolata & Flaky Cookies paired with 2010 Bonterra Muscat, Bartolucci Vineyards, Lake County
