DishDash, Sunnyvale

We had Girls Night Out at DishDash in Sunnyvale. Judging by the crowd, there is no doubt that the economy in Silicon Valley is booming. We arrived at 6:30 pm on a Saturday and there was a 70 minute wait. When we left at 9:30 pm, there were still people waiting to be seated. Dinner was great as usual.

Tabsi--Seasoned Minced Lamb & Beef Topped with a Thick Sauce of Eggplant, Onions, Peppers, Tomatoes Seasoned with Garlic, Mild Curry and Dry Lime, served with Rice--$16.95. The sauce was very flavorful and the meat was good.

Sabanech--Cubes of Lamb Cooked with Spinach, Black-Eyed Beans, Onions and Garlic, served with Rice--$17.95. This sounded good but was probably our least favorite. Not much depth of flavor.

M'shakaleh--Layers of Mushrooms, Grilled Eggplant, Cauliflower, Tomatoes and Rice, Served with a Yogurt-Tomato Sauce--$13.95. A Chicken Shish-Kebab was added. This was the best dish. It was flavorful and amazing.
