Occidental, California

Occidental is a larger town but has a smaller population than Graton--there are only 1100 inhabitants. It is close to the Russian River and is surrounded by hills. It's adorable.

 
Occidental was established in 1876.

There are several restaurants in town. Bistro Des Copains serves dinner only.

 
The Union Hotel has a restaurant, a pizzeria and a bakery.

 
Howard Station Café serves breakfast and lunch.
