Le Socrate

After our tour, it was 12:30 pm and time for lunch. There were a lot of people at Le Socrate so we sat down.

Le Socrate is located on Rue Ganterie, just a block south of the Musee des Beaux-Arts.

My husband ordered the Salade du Jour--tomatoes, chicken, prosciutto, hard-boiled egg, pepper and fried onions.

The salad came with a cafe for €10.

I ordered the Salade Landaise--€11.90. This was one of the best salads I have ever had. it had smoked duck breast, gizzard, tomatoes, potatoes, lardons and garlic croutons.
