The next morning, we stopped to see the Old Mill of Vernon. You'll find it right before you cross the bridge to Vernon.
This was the remnants of an old flour mill that was built on a Medieval bridge. The mill probably dates from the 16th century. The bridge only has a few piers left.
Nearby is a sculpture titled "People."
