Colonna House

We rented an Airbnb, near the Piazza Navona neighborhood. It's listed as Colonna House.

The apartment is on the top floor of a historic building. It had an elevator. You can hear street noise but it quieted down at night.

If you have cellular access, you can open the door by dialing an access number. Otherwise, you'll get a key. I thought our host would be meeting us since I told him I wasn't going to have cellular access. When we arrived, he wasn't there. I found a passerby who called our host and we were eventually let into the building. A little snafu but no big deal.

The apartment was very comfortable and it was large.

The kitchen had a good sized refrigerator and there was a combo washer/dryer machine in the hall.

There were 3 bedrooms--one with a twin bed.

The other bedrooms had double beds (equivalent to our king).

There were 3 bathrooms--1 bathroom had a handheld shower head and tub and the other 2 were showers.

The house was located near the small Piazza di San Simeone and there was even a restaurant on the piazza. Don't forget to save some euros--there is a €3.50/person/day tourist tax, payable in cash.

Francesco, our host, was very helpful with helping me make dinner reservations.
