Taberna Tirso de Molina

We wanted to have cocido at Malacatin but didn't have reservations so we couldn't get in. We should have made reservations in advance. We did find Taberna Tirso de Molina full of people and decided to give it a try. They had a €10 menu del dia.

First course--paella. This was a great paella. The rice was perfectly cooked, chewy and it was loaded with chicken and seafood.

Another first course option--penne with chorizo sauce. It wasn't quite as good as the one at Las Viandas.

Breaded pork chop with gravy.

Chicken breast with slab of bacon. This was on the dry side but the gravy from the pork chop tasted good with this.

Great flan--light and with a nice caramel sauce.
