Day 2 Wine & Food Affair

On Sunday, we tried to go to the Parish Cafe to have beignets but there was a 30-minute wait. We went back to Healdsburg Downtown Bakery & Creamery and had a quick  breakfast before we started our 2nd day on the Wine & Food Affair.

My sister and I switched today. She was the designated driver and I could sample the wines. We started at Martin Ray and had our bracelets switched.

Martin Ray served Wild Mushroom Risotto with Duck Confit paired with 2012 Pinot Noir, Sonoma County. The wine retails for $40.

Next we went to DeLoach.

Pork Belly Confit Sandwich with DeLoach Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir Mustard, paired with 2012 Estate Pinot Noir, which retails for $70.

Right next door was Sunce, which served Sour Cabbage Rolls. They had a mystery wine game and if you guessed the 4 varietals correctly, you got a bottle of wine.
