I had a 4-day weekend and went to Portland. I had read about the great food scene. Unfortunately, we missed Restaurant Month--it's in March.
We rented a house on Williams Street. Portland has a lot of walkable neighborhoods. Williams Street is a neighborhood in transition. It didn't feel dangerous but there were some rundown areas. In April, it was $255/night with taxes, cleaning fee and VRBO fee.
There were 4 of us and the house had 2 bedrooms and a den. The bed in the den pulled out to become a Queen.

There were 1 1/2 bathrooms.
