Gregory Renard

I had read about Gregory Renard's macarons and found the shop at 35 rue Daubenton.

I tried a Passion Ginger, Framboise, Caramel Sea Salt and Pistacchio. They weren't too sweet but the flavors weren't as intense. Can't remember how much they were but it was probably €1.90 each.

They also sold Marron Glace--chestnut candied in syrup and glazed. They were  €14 for 8 and that was with a 30% discount. Apparently, it's hard to get the chestnuts to stay whole after the entire process so the yield is low.
