Bacon Happy Hour

We wanted a light dinner and headed to MacIntosh for their "Bacon Happy Hour," served Mon-Fri from 5-7 pm. The executive chef is Jeremiah Bacon, hence the name. It wasn't all things "bacon" (with a small b).

MacIntosh is located at 479B King Street.

Lettuce Wraps with Pickled Red Onion, Pork and Sambal Aioli--$5. Delicious and a huge portion. This was enough for dinner for one of us.

Seared Scallops with Black Garlic Sunchoke Puree, Watercress, Orange, Fennel, Sunchoke Chips--$6. This was okay. The scallops were cooked just a tad too long.

Their signature dish is their Bone Marrow Bread Pudding--$7. It wasn't on the Happy  Hour menu. It was too rich for me.
