Jasmine House Inn

It was also a $14 Uber ride to our hotel in Charleston. I had made reservations at the Indigo Inn but when we arrived, we found out the hotel had written the dates wrong and they weren't prepared for us. Fortunately, their sister location, just across the street, had a room available.

The Jasmine House Inn is located in the heart of Charleston and an easy walk to most tourist sites.

There was a main house and a converted carriage house in back. The main house was built in 1843 in the Greek Revival style.

Our room was in the Carriage House. It was a large suite with a sitting area and a fireplace. There was a mini fridge in the room and 2 closets.

The bathroom was huge and updated.

Our room led to a porch.

Our porch overlooked the courtyard with a fountain.

Breakfast and wine reception at 6 pm were served in the main house. Breakfast was sticky buns and fruit. The wine reception included wine, a crab dip, cheese and fruit.

In the main house, this was one of the bedrooms on the lower level.

Main house porch. So elegant and so southern!

Street parking is limited. There is parking at the Indigo Inn, just across the street--$14/day.
