A Tale of Two Hotdogs

One of the most popular thing to eat in Iceland is a hotdog. On our morning tour, we passed by Baejarins Beztu Pylsur, the top-rated hot dog in Reykjavik.

The pictures next to it show famous people, including Bill Clinton, who have visited the hot dog stand.

A hot dog is ISK 450. It came with raw onions, deep fried onions, mayo and a sweet brown sauce. It was meh--nothing spectacular.

Across town is the Icelandic Sausage Company. It's located near the Laugardalslaug Pool.

The variety of sauces that you can add to your sausage.

These sausages were much better--more like German Brats. Each was ISK 890.
