Appelsin is a very popular soft drink in Iceland. It's an orange drink that is not too sweet. At first, I didn't care for it because it tasted like carbonated Tang with a hint of salt. It grew on me and by the end of the trip, I was drinking a lot of it.
Opal is another popular drink in Iceland. This is a licorice-flavored liquor that tastes like Vick's Cough Syrup. I know it doesn't sound appealing but this also grew on me.
