Colline Emiliane

We had reservations for lunch at Colline Emiliane.

Colline Emiliane is located at Via Degli Avignonesi, 22--a 6-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain.

They make their own pasta.

A glass of Albana (white grape from Emilia Romagna region)--€5.

Tortellini in Brodo--€15. This was the best brodo I have had. It was such a rich consommé.

Tagliatelle alla Bolognese--€15. The pasta was perfect and the meat sauce was delicious.

Triangoli & Ricotta, Bieta e Salciccia--€15. The chard and sausage ravioli was delicious as well.

Giambonetto di Vitella con Purea--€18. This was one of the best things I had in Rome. The veal was cooked in milk and it was so tender.

Brasato di Manzo con Cipollini in Agrodolce--€18. This was beef braised in a tangy sauce and it was fork tender.

Carciofi Romana--€6. This was the disappointment of the meal. It was good but not as good as the carciofi we made in class. Ours had more parsley filling and was more flavorful.
