Hyde Park & Kensington Garden

Hyde Park is a 350-acre public park in central London. In the northeast corner, you'll find Speaker's Corner & Marble Arch.

The park is dominated by Serpentine Lake, where you can rent paddle and row boats. The Serpentine Lake flows into the Long Water at the northern edge.

To the south of Serpentine Lake, you'll find the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain.

The fountain was opened in 2004. It's a circular fountain made of Cornish granite.

Water flows from the top in 2 directions until it meets in a calm pool at the bottom.

Nearby is Serenity, a bronze sculpture installed in 2009.

Continue walking west and you'll see the Albert Memorial to the south. Beyond that is the Royal Albert Hall.

Hyde Park blends into Kensington Garden and Kensington Palace. This is the official residence of  William, Kate & their children. You can visit the palace for £17.50. Sightings of the royal family not likely.
