Padella

Padella is a restaurant near Borough Market that has house made pasta. It's a small place and they don't take reservations . Plan to arrive 30 minutes before it opens to get a table.

Padella is located at 6 Southwark Street. It's open Mon-Sat 12-3:45pm, 5-10pm and Sun 12-3:45p, 5-9pm.

Castelvetrano Green Olives--£2.50. These were quite good.

Slow Cooked Spinach with Garlic--£5. Also very good with no bitterness.

Pappardelle with 8 hours Dexter Beef Shin Ragu--£10. This was the star of the show. The beef was pull apart tender and the pappardelle was cooked perfectly.

The special of the day was Tagliarini with Egg & 3 grams White Truffle--£28. This was disappointing--not enough truffle flavor. I'd rather have 3 more plates of the Pappardelle.
