Chez Leon, Dijon

I had read great reviews about Chez Leon and was able to get a reservation at the last minute. This was ranked #13 on TripAdvisor.

Chez Leon is located at 20 rue des Godrans, a 6-minute walk from our hotel. They offer a 2-course formule for €24.50 and a 3-course for €29.

Due de Foie Gras "Terrine Maison" au Cassis et Foie Gras Poele, Salade a la Vinaigrette aux Sesames, €11.50, or €3 supplement to the formule. Loved the seared foie gras.

6 Escargots de Bourgogne Rotis dans leur Coquille en Persillade--€8. This was garlicky and delicious.

Souris d'Agneau, Confite et son Jus au Thym Maison--€17.80. Tender lamb shank.

Grenadin de Mignon de Veau Grille, Sauce aux Morilles--€20, or €3 supplement to the formule. Veal with morel sauce--loved it!

This was a great bottle of pinot--2012 Bourgogne Pinot Fin Geuntet-Pansiot, €39.

After I had ordered, I saw bone marrow delivered to another table. I wish I had seen that on the menu.
