Rued, Ridge Lytton Springs, West & Mazzocco


Rued served Braised Short Ribs of Beef with Porcini Mushrooms over Buttered Egg Noodles. This was my second favorite dish of the day.


Rued also had soft serve pumpkin ice cream. Yum! They also had a glass washer so our group was able to clean their wine glasses.


Ridge Lytton Springs served Herbed Gnocchi with 16-hour Braised Beef Cheeks. The beef cheeks were good but the gnocchi was too dense.


West served Truffle Scented Risotto with Porcini Mushrooms, Roasted Shallots & Parmesan Cheese. This had good flavor but the rice was overcooked. I guess that's what happens by the end of the day.

Our last stop was Mazzocco. They were serving Duck & Pork Cassoulet. By the time we got to the winery at 3:50, they had run out of the cassoulet.
