Baci

We meet some friends for an annual holiday dinner at Baci. Baci Cafe & Wine Bar is located at 330 Healdsburg Ave. We reserve their small private room that fits 12. It's located in the wine cellar.

Zuppa di Cipole al Forno--$14. French Onion Soup. Great cheesy topping but the soup did not have depth of flavor.

Burrata--$14. Fresh Mozzarella stuffed with Cream on Grilled Bread, Sauteed Leek, Pancetta, Topped with Roasted Tomatoe, Pesto and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Ravioli con Vitello--$28. Fresh Spinach Pasta Filled with Braised Veal, Sauteed Sweet Onions, Spinach & Mushrooms, Tartufata, Sauteed Hen of the Woods Mushrooms & Veal Demi. This was okay.

Pesce del Giorno--$38. Fresh Local Petrale Sole Rosette Stuffed with Bodega Bay Fresh Dungeness Crab on top of a Risotto Cake and Sauteed Spinach. Topped with Lobster Cream Sauce & Basil Infused Olive Oil. The sole was well prepared and the lobster cream sauce was good but there wasn't enough crab to make it stand out.
