Hang Ah, Santa Rosa

Every once in a while I crave dim sum and it's not convenient to drive to the south bay. I rely on Hang Ah, located at 2130 Armory Drive, just off Hwy 101 at the Steele/Guerneville exit.

Small Hot & Sour Soup--$6.50. I've come to like this. Just the right amount of sour. Could be a little spicier though.

Small Pea Sprouts--$8. Nice and garlicky and the pea sprouts were tender.

Shiu Mai--$3. Steamed pork dumplings full of pork and shrimp. The dumplings were nice and plump.

Crispy Glutinous Puff--$3. Glutinous rice dough filled with a meat mixture. Delicious but at times it could be a little greasy. It was perfect this time.

Pan Fried Turnip Cake--$4. These were nice. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Har Gow--$5. Shrimp dumplings. These were plump and full of shrimp.

Rice Noodle Roll with Shrimp--$5. Full of large shrimp but bland.

I also ordered Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf--$5 but didn't get a picture.
